Consul-General of India visits UOW

The highlights and challenges faced by Indian students were high on the agenda last week as the Consul-General of India in Sydney, Mr B. Vanlalvawna, visited the UOW’s 51²è¹Ý campus.

The Consul-General was particularly interested in student experiences, speaking with Indian students to discuss all aspects of their time at UOW.

The Consul-General visited UOW as part of a wider visit to 51²è¹Ý, arranged by 51²è¹Ý City Council. 

During a luncheon with representatives from Destination 51²è¹Ý, Illawarra Business Chamber, Vox Radio’s Indian program, 51²è¹Ý City Council and UOW Vice-Chancellor Professor Paul Wellings CBE, the Consul-General discussed mutual opportunities for developing tourist links and investigating industry connections for the advanced manufacturing and mining services sector.
