UOW School of Business present international keynote on ‘Sustainability and Supply Chain Management’

Staff and students from the UOWs Faculty of Business and Law attended “International Conference on Multidisciplinary Approaches to SDGs and International Partners’ Meet 2024” in Kochi, India in January.

Accompanied by and Erin Snape, 13 undergraduate Business and Law Students attended the 25th year of the Conference. This vibrant event provided a platform for UOW students to showcase their work around Australian perspectives of the through presentations, as well as gain exposure to industry and academia in a new country, while Associate Professor Pepper gave two compelling keynote addresses. His talks covered the pivotal role of sustainability in Supply Chain Management and encouraged innovative thinking through the lenses of sustainability, systems theory, and moral imagination.

While attending the conference, Associate Professor Pepper formalised the collaborative relationship between UOW and RBS with an MOU signing. Additionally, he was awarded the prestigious honorary position of Adjunct Professor at RBS further laying the groundwork for a deep partnership between our institutions.
